Mississippi Love

This is gonna be quick as my internet connection is spotty. We spent the weekend with our friends, Jeff and Courtney in Mississippi. They live in a great neighborhood right on the water and have a boat. But, even better than that, they're so fun to hang out with...a couple we're completely at ease with (I know, I know...don't end a sentence with a preposition). It was fun seeing where they live and meeting some of their family. These photos are all out of order, but I'm too tired to fight with blogger to fix it.

Bryce and I went tubing behind their boat.

We let daddy try it out first, then we did it.

There was a gorgeous sunset the night we took the boat to a restaurant for dinner.
Jeff was a sport and let Bryce "help" him drive.
Our travels have taken us off the beat and path. We never "planned" to end up on a dirt road while navigating our way. Good thing Jeff and Courtney allowed us to borrow their GPS which helped get us back on track.
Gotta do what you gotta do...we've done lots of diaper changes in the car.

Bryce climbing an Indian Mound.Sweet.

The 2nd day on the boat we saw an awesome rainbow. It actually was a complete arch, although we didn't get it all in the photo.
Terrible picture of me, but Dawson and I loved relaxing together.
Bryce and Michael liked "relaxing" too. Something tells me it wasn't quite as peaceful.

Bryce was dying to go swimming the first night. We only let him put his feet in until the next day.
We took the boat to dinner at a restaurant on the water the first night.
It looks like I'm staring into my "love's" eyes in this candid photo. Weird.
So, we played it up in this posed photo.
Sorry such a random post...I'll fix it later. For now, I'm headed to bed!

OH AND TWO HUGE ACCOMPLISHMENTS:
1. Dawson rolled over 3 times over the past 2 weeks.
2. Dawson SLEPT 8 HOURS STRAIGHT LAST NIGHT. HALLELUIA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! That's the longest he's EVER slept. I'm sure he won't do it tonight, but it's nice to dream, right?!?!
